We supported Maddison’s Spectacular Toy Drive today by donating a batch of children’s toys!
Even though Thanksgiving has yet to pass, Maddison Smith has her eyes set on assisting families in need celebrate Christmas. Maddison, a local 14-year-old scout & GCS student, is currently working on her Eagle Scout project. The young panther is collecting children’s toys and monetary donations to support struggling families through our area’s economic ups & downs.
“Maddison’s Spectacular Toy Drive” has the goal of gifting 1,000 toys to kids across Western New York (WNY) this Christmas. Maddison is also collaborating with Gowanda’s own Love INC to foster connections with families throughout our community. While the holiday is still a month away, the toy drive’s end on December 3rd is fast approaching.
Our donation today highlights our support and admiration of Maddison’s mission. However, there is still work to be done to ensure this Christmas blossoms happy memories & smiles for children throughout WNY. We encourage our friends, neighbors, and community to help Maddison achieve her goal as it will truly take a village to turn the tide for countless families this holiday season.
