Panther Paws of Hope: Children’s Book Donation

Reading in the Autumn Breeze? Yes Please!

Our Panther Paws of Hope initiative visited Gowanda Elementary School (GES) today with a donation of 20 children’s books to our young panthers in kindergarten!

Author P Lynn is an aspiring self-published children’s book writer. His books, “Promises to ABCs” and “I Am Perfect Just The Way I Am,” focus on adolescent mental health by building positivity and self-confidence. With student mental health a growing concern as we move past the pandemic, we sought to bring these books to our district & students.

We discovered Lynn on the popular social media app TikTok. Various outreach efforts soon followed with GCS faculty and even Lynn himself. Back-and-forth discussions quickly identified the GES kindergarten class as the perfect book audience. After a short summer pause, we are thrilled to finalize this effort to benefit the young student body of GES!

Book Donation Breakdown:

7 – One copy of each book is donated to each of the seven kindergarten classrooms
