An initiative to benefit the students of Gowanda Central School (GCS) is now in full swing. The first quarter of 2022 has certainly kept us busy across multiple fronts. Since the non-profit’s launch on Christmas Day a few months ago, we have been buried in email discussions as we continue outreach efforts to impact the community. All the planning has proved pivotal as we are proud to announce the first initiative in our mission of giving back: Panther Paws of Hope.
Panther Paws of Hope is our dedicated initiative, or strategy intended to improve the situation, for local students. This strategy will encompass the district and student body by consolidating all future donations, programs, & efforts toward GCS. Come rain or shine, EHD Incorporated will be there to lend a hand to students in need. We’re also thrilled to make this announcement not empty-handed. The initiative is officially launching with a donation of a canopy tent to GCS Athletics for use during home sporting events.
Throughout the past two years, the spread of COVID-19 put a stunt on student-based fundraisers. The canopy aims to host a concession stand operation that helps students raise funding for their school trips, teams, & clubs. Creating new outlets for young adults to explore marketing is another great advantage. Furthermore, this canopy will supply a shield away from the sun’s powerful UV rays. Student-athletes bake in the sun while participating in their various sports programs. Most, as many parents know, refuse to wear sunscreen as well. The tent helps by spanning 10ft x 20ft and providing a retreat for students to take a break from the scorching heat. The addition of the canopy will surely be a welcomed sight for Gowanda’s families & players for many games to come.
The launch of Panther Paws of Hope also comes with a non-profit donation page update. Donations are now able to be delegated to specific initiatives and efforts. The change allows community members and supporters to donate directly to Panther Paws of Hope. The support we have received thus far in our journey has been phenomenal & appreciated, and we will forever be grateful. While we are determined to benefit GCS students, our efforts come with a cost. Parties interested in donating have access to digital & mail-in donation methods. Digital donations can be processed through the non-profit’s PayPal here. Our digital donation platform can accommodate both debit & credit cards too. For individuals who are more comfortable utilizing the mail-in method, donations can be mailed to PO Box 44, Gowanda, NY 14070. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated but are more importantly assisting us in giving back to the local area and putting smiles on the faces of all.
Overall, we simply aspire to make a substantial impact on the student body of GCS by assisting students to reach their potential. With access to a new tent, players & families will now be able to relax, cool down, and refresh themselves against any unforeseen weather conditions. From blazing heat to freezing, windy temperatures, EHD Incorporated will always show up and put Gowanda first to create a better place for all.
