Our End Gowanda Hunger initiative is supporting The Gowanda Food Pantry ahead of next week’s Thanksgiving distribution with a donation of 500 reusable grocery bags!
This effort marks the third donation in our series of eco-friendly bagging contributions for pantry operations. With Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner, supplying pantry volunteers with ample packaging was a clear priority. We also remain determined to steer clear of plastic bags regardless of cost or supply after Gowanda experienced water pollution firsthand. Reusable bags have stepped up to the plate as a result and continue to be home runs during food distributions.
