End Gowanda Hunger: Cattaraugus Farmer’s Market and Gowanda Corn Efforts Recap!

Cattaraugus Farmer’s Market and Gowanda’s Saturday Corn Effort Recap!

We were thrilled to donate another 100 dozen ears of sweet corn to the local community!

First, we visited The Cattaraugus Artisan & Farmers Market on Friday’s rainy afternoon. Inclement weather left ample corn available, so we set up on Main Street Gowanda the following day! Any leftover corn on hand was donated to the Gowanda Rehabilitation Center and the Eden North Collins Food Pantry.

Our annual corn effort expanded this summer to fight continued food insecurities throughout the local area. We thank Meyer’s Homegrown, Superior Seal, and everyone who donated at the corn events. Your support helps us ensure that our friends, family, & community always have food on the table!

Have a great week, Gowanda!
