Whatever floats your… duck?
Cattaraugus Creek was home of the Ducky Derby over the past weekend & we were able to gift 10 children the opportunity to participate!
The village event came to fruition last summer and returned this year bigger than ever. Hundreds of ducks lined the span of the creek with the hope of crossing the finish line. Prizes were awarded to the top 10 lucky winners, but the experience & memories were the best rewards of all.
Opening the opportunity for children and their families to enjoy the special Sunday was a big emphasis for us. It was a great end to the summer season while offering a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather ahead of the school year starting next week. We also want to thank the Gowanda Assembly of God for assisting us hand out remaining tickets ahead of the event!
