Operation Treats for Troops Recap!
We were thrilled to collaborate with Gowanda Cub Scout Pack 276 to deliver over 100 pounds of candy to soldiers stationed overseas!
The scouts hosted this service project to show military appreciation during the holidays. They did a fantastic job collecting and packaging excess Halloween candy in early November. Their hard work resulted in twelve care packages full of candy being mailed to service members in Germany, the Baltics, and a Navy ship!
The photos feature US Army soldiers currently serving in the Baltics. This region of Europe lacks many popular candy brands, so the soldiers were ecstatic to receive their favorite chocolates and treats. The service members thank the young scouts for being thoughtful and Gowanda for supporting the kids with a great cause!
