Community Effort: Christmas in Gowanda Holiday Activities!

Christmas in Gowanda Post #2 of 3: Elf Booth & Holiday Crafts!

We had a blast hosting holiday activities during this year’s Christmas in Gowanda!

Through Saturday’s drizzling weather, Santa’s elves made a safe trip from the North Pole to join us on downtown Main Street! Families and kids enjoyed free indoor & outdoor activities with them all afternoon. The elves bounced between Christmas cookie decorating, ornament painting, holiday games, and a photo area with holiday props!

First, we started at our elf booth on Main Street. Kids played snowball toss to win a prize, and families took fun photos with Christmas glasses & headbands! We then joined in on our holiday crafts at Gowanda Free Library’s community room. The elves were so impressed with the creativity of the kids & their designs!

Last Saturday would not have been possible without the support of our great community. Special thanks to Gowanda Free Library for opening its amazing community room for our Christmas crafts. Along with that, huge shout-outs to Moore in Zoar and Johnson’s Plumbing & Heating for organizing the activities. We also appreciate everyone who stopped to experience the Christmas spirit!

Please feel free to share your event pictures and everlasting memories. Merry Christmas and happy holidays, Gowanda!
