Trees for Gateway!
We beautified Gateway Park through our returning “Beautifying Gowanda” series!
Beautifying Gowanda is our seasonal program to improve public recreational areas throughout the village. This series features outdoor work & maintenance to transform these locations into more welcoming places for local families and our community. Landscaping efforts started last summer, and 2024’s schedule sprouted at Gateway Park!
With park options nearly endless, we focused on planting three new trees! They quickly rooted themselves in vacant spaces around Gateway’s pavilion & playground. We then circled the trees with a fresh layer of mulch. Special thanks to Schichtel’s Nursery for continually collaborating with us! More to follow in the coming weeks!
