Community Effort: Pumpkins for “JJ’s Road to Recovery”!

Pumpkins for JJ!

We donated pumpkins to support JJ’s Road to Recovery Benefit!

JJ is a Panther student at Gowanda Middle School who was tragically hit by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in August. He was released last week in time to participate in the annual Spirit Parade and was met with great applause & support. While his road to recovery is still ongoing, our community will continue to be with him every step of the way.

Please join his family this Saturday, October 12th, at the Gowanda Moose Lodge for the “JJ’s Road to Recovery” benefit. The event will run throughout the afternoon with food, music, and activities for everyone to enjoy. Tickets & donations are being collected to assist the student’s family with medical expenses.

We were thrilled to donate a truckload of pumpkins to support a family decorating activity at the benefit! Special thanks to Meyer’s Homegrown for making this effort possible. We are grateful for their continued support of our local community!

You’re invited to pumpkin decorating at JJ’s benefit this Saturday! Have a great weekend, Gowanda!
