Gowanda Resident Runs for Charity!
We are grateful for Gavin Kennedy pledging donations to us when he runs the Beast of Burden 100-Mile Ultramarathon!
Gavin is a Gowanda native and resident participating in his first ultramarathon in Lockport, NY, on August 10th. The race takes runners alongside the beautiful and historic Erie Canal. Ultramarathons test endurance to the breaking point, but Gavin is empowered to reach the finish line. He’s motivated to give back to his hometown community. To help Gowanda’s youth achieve their dreams, Gavin will finish the Beast of Burden to show Gowanda Central School students that anything in life is possible.
Gavin requests people who care about Gowanda to pledge donations to our non-profit organization, Ensering Hopes & Dreams. All contributions will fuel our continued efforts to support Panther students, fight local food insecurities, and assist the community. Are you interested in supporting Gavin’s cause?
