Gowanda Farmer’s Market Corn Effort Recap!
We had a blast donating over 100 dozen free sweet corn at the Gowanda Farmer & Artisan Market!
Last Thursday, the Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce market had one of this summer’s best turnouts. Main Street was busy all afternoon with the community supporting local vendors, organizations, and businesses. The clear sky made for perfect shopping weather and handing out free sweet corn!
Our annual corn effort fights food insecurities in the local area with The Gowanda Food Pantry. We thank Meyer’s Homegrown and Superior Seal for making this year’s donation possible. Also, we are grateful to everyone in the community who donated to support future efforts!
