Chang-Hu: Where Music & Mulch is in the Air!
We beautified Chang-Hu Park ahead of this summer’s Music in the Park in our “Beautifying Gowanda” series!
Beautifying Gowanda is our seasonal program to improve public recreational areas throughout the village. This series features outdoor work & maintenance to transform these locations into more welcoming places for local families and our community. With Music in the Park starting tomorrow, we beautified Chang-Hu to support the event!
Music in the Park is an annual summer month-long event that hosts live performances from local bands. Great musical talent will echo through the village night air every Thursday evening. The entire community is welcome to attend the concerts free of charge, with The Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce offering food and a 50/50 raffle.
We spent the holiday weekend weeding & mulching before the concert opening. Unwelcomed weeds were promptly removed from the space. Then, trees adjacent to the concert seating, the flag pole center display, and Chang Hu’s sign all received fresh mulch. The stage is set for sensational performances to come!
