It Truly Takes A Village!
Hi Gowanda, has anyone started their Christmas in Gowanda countdown?
We certainly have! The magical night & afternoon festivities are fast approaching on Saturday, December 2nd. This year, we will collaborate with the Gowanda Chamber of Commerce on transforming Chang Hu Park for the Christmas tree lighting.
Our aspirations for the park will improve the holiday atmosphere for the whole community to enjoy. The space has so much potential; we cannot wait to start! Decorating will be a hands-on project, so special thanks to Gowanda Central’s ImPactful Panthers student volunteer group for volunteering with us in the coming weeks!
Ahead of the big event & student volunteering opportunity, we need your help, Gowanda. Donations from generous community members, neighbors, & friends are now being accepted to help cover decoration expenses. The cost of Christmas decorations has soared, but we won’t let price tags prevent the community from experiencing the magic of the special holiday night.
