Curtain Call for Senior Night 2023!
We were thrilled to attend Gowanda High School’s Senior Night last week to honor our senior award recipients!
Senior Night is an annual school-hosted event that recognizes the hard work, dedication, & accomplishments of Gowanda seniors ahead of their graduation in a few short weeks. The night is full of applause with award presentations honoring exceptional young adults. This year, two awards from our Panther Paws of Hope initiative made their debut in supporting GHS students achieve their dreams!
Both awards, unlike most others offered, support students who are not pursuing a college education. First, “The Lawrence M Ogle Award” honors a student’s positive influence on their peers, selflessness to better others over themselves, and commitment to serving our country in the US Armed Forces. Then, “The Road Less Traveled Award” assists a student in stepping into their life’s next chapter outside of a classroom.
Award recipients this year are Alex Pachucinski (left), future US Army Infantry, and Tim Rasey (right), a future Junior Hockey Player in the North American Hockey League. Congratulations! We cannot wait to see what the future holds for these great individuals!
Stay tuned for our third & final senior award being included in student graduation packets! Be sure to like, comment, & share in congratulating these two on a job well done. Thank you kindly for your time, and we hope you have a great rest of your day!
