2 in 1? Absolutely, Pasta-tively!
We donated 61 boxes of spaghetti to The Gowanda Food Pantry today! This brings our food donation count to 181 since the beginning of 2023!
In support of our End Gowanda Hunger initiative, we created the Targeted Food Donation Program to guarantee in-demand monthly food item donations to the pantry. Through hosting varying donation amounts, this program is committed to giving 365 food items each year. We decided today’s effort would combine food from both May & June, equalling 61 boxes of spaghetti for 61 days altogether!
Regular outreach efforts assist us greatly in understanding and learning what items are needed most. Pasta products were our focus today thanks to spaghetti’s popularity on the dinner table. With a busy summer around the corner as well, doing a 2-in-1 donation special made perfect sense. This effort helps ensure that our friends, family, & community always have food on the table and endless pasta-bilities!
