We had a blast with the community yesterday while attending Christmas in Gowanda!
While the rainy weather put a slight damper on the day, Christmas festivities were in full swing throughout the village. Holiday train rides roared down the tracks, businesses hosted various festive activities, and Santa Claus braved the elements to see local children ahead of the big day. The weather also didn’t stop us from setting up a booth of our own right in the heart of town.
Nestled next to Gowanda’s Historic Hollywood Theater was our apple cider and baked goods stand. The booth offered tasty treats benefiting Gowanda as all proceeds will fund non-profit donation efforts heading into 2023. Our “elves” were then kept busy throughout the day handing out cookies & toys while taking pictures with children on the nice list.
We want to thank everyone who devoted their time, resources, and a few headaches in between to make our outing yesterday all come together. It truly takes a village. Thank you kindly for your time, and we hope you have a great rest of your day!
