Panther Paws of Hope: Paint Marker Donation

Coming to a Classroom Near You!

We are excited to announce a paint marker donation to the Gowanda Central School Art Department! This donation, which is under our Panther Paws of Hope initiative, lays the groundwork for a student mental health art project set to begin sometime next month. The ImPactful Panthers student volunteer group will be using these markers to paint various ceiling tiles across the district.

This project concept was discovered on the popular social media app TikTok. A teacher had her classroom’s ceiling tiles painted with various design concepts, including superheroes, animals, & movie characters. A positive learning atmosphere was created, and we hope to bring the same result for GCS students.

While the 2022 school year is coming to a close, we want to solidify that the deadline won’t delay our efforts to benefit local students. We also want to express our gratitude to The ImPactful Panthers for such a great picture & heartfelt message. Project updates will be sure to follow in the coming weeks. Above all, we look forward to seeing what the artistic minds of our local students come up with.

Thank you kindly for your time & we hope you have a great rest of your day!
